I probably could, but I don't really want to be a landlord. Some moral feelings there, but honestly it's more about the business/bureaucracy side of things. I just don't want to deal with it.

Bought in 2019 at 3.75, refinanced to 2.5 in... 2020 or 2021.

It was supposed to be a 3 or 5 year home. Now, we can't afford to sell it. It's small, which was great at the time, but we need more space now. But there's no room on the lot to add on.

The current plan is to build a shed and move my office into it if we need that room for anything.

Out of curiosity, how do you manage to follow so many feeds? I've been using RSS for probably 20 years now, and feel like I easily get overwhelmed when I get over a dozen feeds or so.

Try Feedly. As best I can tell, it's the only spiritual successor to Google Reader from years ago (I'm still salty Google killed it). It's about the only worthwhile non-self-hosted RSS reader online. Being online, it will sync between devices.

If you're a little more technically inclined, you could also look into self-hosting your own feed reader. That's beyond my abilities, so I don't know where to point you for that.

Oh, it's worse than that.

80 is basically four-twenties. 17, 18, and 19 are basically ten-seven, ten-eight, and ten-9. Which makes 97, 98, and 99 four-twenties-ten-seven, four-twenties-ten-eight, and four-twenties-ten-nine.

I prefer to hope that he loses SpaceX. They are legitimately doing cool new things that we honestly need. But they can do that without Elon's involvement and he doesn't need to profit from it.

The way I see it, it's not something that should be joked about, at least not yet. I basically agree with SnazzyLab's take. This is all immensely disappointing, and absolutely needs addressing and fixing. And it will take time. But joking around/laughing about it is in poor taste. Right now, it's time for looking at what's broken and improving it. Imagine someone hits you with their car. They've given you their insurance info, but then they say, "Lol, but that was some pretty sweet driving, wasn't it?" I'm not saying he needs to be apologizing 24/7 on repeat, just that he needs to put some thought into how what he says will be received. Or maybe even just not say anything. There's nothing wrong with saying, "We're going to address this stuff" (which they have a video about) and then quietly working on things.

Oh I mostly agree. I meant that the name is similar. Redd-it versus redd-that.

Because it is close to "Reddit".

Super lame, but that was the criteria and it made me laugh at myself.

What happens when you sent an alarm for 10pm before going to sleep? Does it slow-charge then?

This is the most perfect description of him I've ever heard. Got a solid laugh out of it.
