I feel like this gem of a game has pretty much been forgotten. Never expected to see someone mention it. Very atmospheric and one of my favorite walking simulator games.

Give Vintage Story a shot. It’s Minecraft as a survival game and much more than that.

Looks beautiful too.

If looking from top left to right my favourites are 3,4 and 6.

I’ve seen quite a few mods making it even more immersive. Also seems to be quite playable on the steam deck even with mods.

Thanks for the reply.

How's Minecraft as a singleplayer chill game? Been debating on getting it, just to explore and survive pretty much.

Seems like it can go a long way.

Played it on my switch a few months ago after many years, still holds up beautifully. The radio stations are spot on and, just like you said, the low poly graphics (even on the DE) are so easy on the eyes.

WoW, but with short and longer breaks. It’s a massive time sink, and I simply do not have the time that WoW demands in order to accomplish most of the things.

It can be an enjoyment, can be fun, can also cause you to burnt out so fast.

RDR2 on Steam Deck. I never got far when I originally played it on my PC a few years ago and have been itching to play it again for the last few weeks.

Started a new game and so far it’s running really good.

Work and IRL stuff does not leave me with a lot of hours to game, but I did manage to put in a good few hours.

What a band.

Man the original Bloodlines, even though I never got around finishing it, was such a unique game. Deb of the night, the city, the hotel mission, twins from that club, general atmosphere… an all around great game (I am aware of quality being sub par during the later parts of the game).

BL 2 looked janky as hell, to a point I think everyone was clear it would flop. I pretty much completely forgot about that game. Just read this morning that they’ve switched devs.

Was also the Gran Turismo 2 opening song. What a game.

A surprise that this isn’t an RPG like the previous two games were. Can’t say that it peaked my interest at, at least for now.

I’m using medium settings with a few (clouds, fog) low ones. FSR is off for now, I did test it briefly on Ultra Quality and did not really notice any blurrong )though it was a brief test) The FPS I’m getting is mostly above 30 but varies a lot inbetween 25-40 (40 is my refresh rate cap).

The controls are easy to get used to and cover all the functions well. Only 4 hours into the game but really enjoying it so far.

How’s everyone finding the performance to be like after the inital few hours?

Being able to see exact number of players playing could be an interesting metric Blizz might not be wanting to share when it comes to WoW, wondering if we'll ever see it on Steam.

I was looking at getting some roguelikes / lites (already have ToME, CoQ), unfortunately Cataclysm DDA is not on sale.

Krone Hotel at 90% off looks like a decent choice too. Then there’s Jupiter Hell, which I recently stumbled upon and looks great too.

I’d also like to get some of the FF games, though I’ve played VI, VII, IX and a bit of XII, it would be nice to revisit some of the older ones I haven’t played almost since the PSX era.
