I just mean in my haste to get the problem across I am not doing a good job of using words. Don’t be so literal

Thank you. This is helpful. It’s 4am here and anxiety is a fucking brutal boss. Cheers

Thank you. I feel like I’m being a bit mad in the comments here

My post is literally about the fact I don’t have an account there……….

I literally had account for less than an hour on the site and, after deleting my account a couple of years ago at the end of the time I was there, I receive an email from them. Why do they still have my fucking email address? I’ve submitted a right to be forgotten request anyway.

Already done but more concerned about my data having been stored and no way to ask to have it removed directly. Thank you for your response though. I’m in the UK and the right to be removed from their mailing list is the very least a business related email is supposed to offer.

Sorry I should clarify, I haven’t had an account with Mastadon for, at least, 2 years

I received an email about threads and Mastadon a bit ago. The thing is I deleted my Mastadon account a hot minute after I created it. The email has no way to unsubscribe from it

I would like to be comforted that I’m overthinking this. My Mastadon account was a couple of years ago in both creation and deletion. It’s incredibly disconcerting.

Unfortunately American politics influences global politics. Conservatism is on the downturn because the number of people who benefit from it are stating to die off and the number of new conservative voters is not increasing. That isn’t exclusive to America. GOP talking points are an easy in for global conservatives to bring up their own “concerns” about things that are talking points but not policies. I don’t want my rights restricted any further than they have been. I’m not American just so you know.

That’s a really nice frog.
