Used to be saturday and sunday but now as self-employed my day off besides the weeked is when ever I feel like so or don't have any work orders.

Personally I'm longing for more discussion about ideas and less about events and definitely less about people.
I filtered out all these words associated with current political headlines and now 2/3 of the threads on my front page are hidden despite me not even following a single political instance other than world news ones. Just goes to show how toxic this place has gotten recently.
Often when I see a spot like this I like imagining how I'd make it as cozy and functional as possible if I had to live there and had a moderate access to resources.
15 - an alcoholic neighbour of a friend of mine saw me an my 2 friends hanging at a playground at night and invited us for a drink. He was quite drunk already and passed out pretty soon after so we stole the rest of his beer and wine and went to my friend's place to continue drinking. Pretty fun experience all in all. R.I.P. Eki.
Put these three filters in your adblocker custom rules:
lemmy.world##div.post-listing:has(span:has-text("/trump/i"))
lemmy.world##div.post-listing:has(span:has-text("/elon/i"))
lemmy.world##div.post-listing:has(span:has-text("/musk/i"))

I can't think of them almost ever helping me in any way. The vast majority of things I worry about never end up happening and even in the cases where being prepaired has helped/saved me I likely would've been prepaired without all the worrying too because of common sense.
Many of them. Personally I'm just using my adblocker for that since I'm only using Lemmy on Firefox.

- Internet activists, probably
But for real, I agree. Forcing US politics down the throat of everyone just builds resentment and makes people completely check out from it. I have content filters set to hide all of it. I'd like an option to show me the most important ones but that is not an option. It's to either be firehosed by Trump and Musk articles or blocking it all. I choose the latter.
Just like major wars got more common under Biden. Doesn't mean they're in any way related though. Judging by the article, this sounds like a mechanical issue / pilot error.
This is just one of the many reasons I have no interest in new cars. If it needs an internet connection then I'm not buying it. There are very few things I need my vehicle to be able to do and having access to internet isn't one of them. I don't even like that my truck has automatic wipers - I vastly prefer the traditional ones. Hell, I don't even need the radio.
