Does House of Leave get good? A few chapters in, and I've ascertained the premise is that it's a shitty found footage movie, but in novel form. I don't want literary Blumhouse. There is even a quip from the writer about waiting for hot water to come from a faulty water heater, with the implication that people take too long to accept that things wont get better.
