Wonderful game, really recommend. A bit slow at the start, but after some time you'll have a lot of things to do. Especially fun with friends

Just sign in with her account on your pc, invite her and then you can sign out. I had the same problem.

Source does speak about it more. It’s a question of not only how much work is being done, but what’s the difference of wages for the same work:

Despite contributing 90–91% of the total labour that goes into global production and the production of traded goods in 2021, including the majority of high-skilled labour, the global South received less than half (44%) of global income, and Southern workers received only 21% of global income in that year. In other words, while global production is overwhelmingly performed in the global South, the yields are disproportionately captured in the global North, indicating a disproportionate command of the global product.

labour exchange:

In 2021, the global North imported 906 billion hours of embodied labour from the South while exporting only 80 billion hours in return (a ratio of 11:1). On average across the period, the North imported 15x more labour from the South than it exported in return. In other words, the North net-appropriates large quantities of labour from the South.

and labour’s share of GDP:

We find that, globally, labour received, on average, 51.6% of world GDP during the 5-year period 2017–2021. In other words, only half of all value produced in the world economy (that is represented in prices and included in GDP accounts) is captured by workers in the form of wages... Southern workers’ share of Southern GDP is notably lower than the global average, at an average of 47.5% during the 2017–2021 period, while Northern workers’ share of Northern GDP is higher, at an average of 54.7% during the same period.

Does the current president NEED to run after his term? If it's not mandatory, then why the fuck dems thought it would be a good idea to put Biden in the forefront of the campaign. ANYONE could have gotten better chances especially with the lib mentality of "vote blue no matter who". Are there really no other candidates available?

Fucking awesome response, thank you so much for it. I get how you feel now much more.

I think an important point to make as well is that these legislations are not even made by trans people, so they have no authority on telling you what to do. Fuck them all.

I want to learn more about the LGBT community and since I'm a cis white guy living in a post soviet country, who grew up in a conservative family, I know jack shit.

So I want to ask this question, is it okay for minors to have an opportunity to make surgeries on themselves? Like, we have age gaps for a reason, is there something that I'm missing here? Should there not be any regulations regarding this?

Like, minors are notoriously not great at making decisions or being reasonable, I wouldn't trust myself doing something this big, that's for sure.

I think meanings of words just change. Liberal 100 years ago is different from a liberal today, so usually when we say liberal, we probably mean neoliberal. Is it academically correct? No, but it's an internet forum, we don't need to use as precise language as possible.

But don't take my word for it. I could be completely wrong and there might be another reason.

Increasing tariffs by 60% while your population can't even afford a loaf of bread is a fucking genius idea, bro. Keep it up, Ukraine will be rebuilt in no time.

I LOVE how he says: "Stalin was a murderous dictator who slaughtered tens of millions of people, including his own". Yeah right, like there's much difference between killing your own people and people elsewhere, sounds so amerikkkan.

Wonderful, now I get to speak in my second language, but ironically, not the first...

Dude, what the fuck. Why does it have millions of views and tens (or rather hundreds) of thousands of likes? The comments are repulsive too, I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT.

Me and my girlfriend pretty often have heated but respectful political discussions and recently we were discussing Stalin. She thinks that he was awful, mainly because of repressions, cult of personality etc.

When I say that repressions were actually good and Stalin didn't kill enough fuckers, she gets a little angry, but I can't seem to explain my position in great detail because of lack of knowledge.

In the case of the cult of personality, I say that Stalin WAS loved by the majority of soviet citizens because he did a shit ton of good for them, but she still doesn't quite get it.

What arguments would you suggest to use, or maybe something to read in order to deepen my knowledge on the topic?

Holy shit, I just realized that I joined you guys a year ago, and to be honest, that was probably the most sane year on the internet that I had. It's surreal to see people expressing the same ideals as me and having actual serious discussion about things, rather than being... you know... r*ddit. You are fucking awesome, don't stop being awesome, please. Love you all ❤️

Need your help!

Hi everyone, I want to make a video about the Israel-Palestine war because recently I found out that a lot of people in my University actively support Israel or don't know nearly enough about the conflict to come to any conclusions.

I want to include as many strong points as possible to really make it clear that Israel are not "the good guys", show how fucked up the thriving Zionism is in Israel and how it destructive nature led to recent events.

If you have any information that would create a strong narrative to (hopefully) change their minds, that would be wonderful. Of course I will do my own research, but I want to make sure that I don't miss anything important.

Thank you!

Hello everyone, I just installed Linux (I'm new to it), in particular Linux Mint, with dual booted Windows for games. Tinkered with it a bit, loved the way it looked, loved how fast it is, but I really don't want to stop on one option and stick with it for a while. I want to try new stuff, new distros (that's how you call it, right?), new customisation options etc. I really like setting up things how I want them to look like and function, and I'm not sure Linux Mint gives me the full potential of Linux.

If I'm right, please recommend something that really will impress me with options (I wouldn't call myself tech savvy, but I like to learn), or, if I'm wrong, please suggest the way to customize the hell out of Mint, would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

edit: Thanks everyone for your replies, I'm really interested in KDE Plasma now. You are the best <3

Appreciating YOU (lemmygrad.ml)

Hey everyone, just wanted to express my gratitude towards lemmygrad and its community. Every time I feel like I don't belong, or generally get sad about the situation in the world and in my country, I can come here and get to see people sharing the same ideas and worldviews that I have, and it makes me so much happier, more hopeful even, which encourages me to continue expressing my beliefs, learn more and try to make situation a little better.

So thank you, lemmygrad, and thanks to all the comrades who are present here.

edit: sorry comrades from hexbear, you are also awesome and thank you for federating with us!

So, comrades, I learned that, apparently, lemmygrad is blocked from other pretty popular but liberal (liberals block others, lol) instances and I don't quite understand how that works.

I can't see posts that were made from other instances? I'm using Jerboa and have an account on lemmygrad and I can see posts from lemmy.ml, but, I guess, I can't view even non-political posts like memes from instances that blocked lemmygrad?

I just returned from reddit's front page because I had nothing better to do, saw post in r/pics and decided to check the comments... it was a mistake

People cannot just think straight, right? They will believe every fucking piece of information they see, I presume.

This tragedy is FULLY BENEFICIAL TO UKRAINE, IT first and foremost DAMAGES RUSSIAN LINE OF DEFENCE AND BARELY TOUCHES UKRAINE’S. That’s because right side of the river is much higher than the left side, so destroying the dam is just a shot in the foot for Russia.

You can see it on the map, you hear it from the officials, you can hear it from UKRAINE that: “they knew all along” and it won’t affect their plans. HOW CONVENIENT!

And all of that is not even considering that Ukraine has shelled this dam since Russia took it over (almost a year). You can see on the screenshot how many times dam and Novokakhovskaya Hydroelectric power plant were discussed in local Telegram channel and I swear, 70% of all of these posts are reports of bombings, explosions etc, they even have videos of it.

But no, after all of that fucking information, people and their fucking rotten brains will still blame Russia for everything because #RUSSIAISATERRORISTSTATE

give me a fucking break
