i was 16 years old and decided, for some reason, that it was a great time to come out as the only gay kid in school in the year 2005. i was living with my father and had to keep it secret because he was extremely homophobic. the kids bullied me and i eventually dropped out because my life was threatened and they told me where i lived after i called their bluff lol, k bye. before then i was able to tell my mother with a school counselor that i was gay. she kinda knew and was fine with it but was worried my life would be difficult.

eventually, my father somehow found out and asked me and i confirmed his suspicions. he told me he didn't accept it and that i could change. blah blah blah. i thought he would beat me and kick me out, because he told me he would. he said i would never be his child if i were gay. one time, there were two gay dudes in the back of a wedding photo he was looking at with me and his girlfriend, and he tore it up into pieces and said "i don't want any fucking faggots in this house." noted! anyway, he didn't do shit and eventually accepted me. i don't talk to him anymore because he's a fascist.

this is such a fucking waste of time and is nothing more than pandering bullshit. we don't want you to try to pass something that WON'T PASS and WON'T STOP FASCISM. please do something more. please do something that fucking matters.

$7.25 has been poverty wages for over a decade.

100% guaranteed these people are of two kinds: Trump voters and Conservative Libertarians

Chloe and Theo have been attached since I adopted him with my partner ~2.5 years ago. He does enjoy beating her up though lol. I have to take him off her every so often because he likes to wrestle when she’s not in the mood. They’re both super affectionate to each other and us.

honestly, all you gotta do is find an artist you like and see if they are open for commissions. there are tons of smaller artists who don’t have big queues! i’d say check around the furry scene on Bluesky and don’t be shy sending a DM if they’re accepting requests. let them know you are new and tell them up front you’re looking for someone who is able to help assist them more than the average client. they’ll decide if they wanna do that for you or not. that’s basically what i did and it went well.

"evil" is usually reserved for people whose actions and/or beliefs reach such an extreme immoral high that they become impossible to defend. morality is a spectrum where objective and subjective lie on opposite ends and everything we do to ourselves, others, and the world can be placed along the spectrum. for example, nobody reasonable would argue against rape being objectively evil.

it seems you are asking if abusers are evil because of the trauma they cause their victims. this doesn't have a direct and clear answer, because it's ultimately up to each person who suffered abuse to make that call. of course you are welcome to your own opinion on how you see the abuser, but if the victim thinks differently then perhaps their perspective should hold more weight than yours. or does that matter? victims may forgive their abusers - does that mean society should? it's complicated.

personally, i think it depends on the abuse and trauma caused. some things feel worse than others. i'll always feel the way i do regardless of how a victim interprets the event but i wouldn't make them adopt my view of themselves or how i see their abuser. they have every right to enforce their morality within their own experiences.

Eli Lilly is a horrible company but some of these compounded versions are being sold by also shitty companies. They’re market the drug inappropriately and are more willing to tweak dosages upon request. Idk that makes me uncomfortable.

that’s fine. i’m not paying.

ah, i'll take your word for it. but it seems closing a psych unit would cut staff and resources which would lead to something terrible like this.
