I’d imagine most of Alberta is left leaning like the rest of the country and similarly has their left votes split over multiple parties, making it a lot easier for conservatives to win. Same problem we all have really. It just takes a really small nudge of conservatism to tip the scales

I’m willing to admit that I don’t know a lot about anarchism. I’ve tried to learn more when I have the opportunity to talk to someone about it, but I never get anything insightful.
I’d love to know more about how an anarchist society could work.
Recently, actually. They have no idealogical allies, no plan, no nothing. They’re not a voting block anyone cares about, nor do they have any actual positions to argue. I do not take their opinions seriously.
Would you/do you support what happened during the Boston tea party? I think we all like law and order, but under the current regime, justices are being found dead from mysterious causes. It’s hard to say it’s the same system of law we’re used to.

A state would never support a rebellion though…. Just because they understand revolution doesn’t mean they allow it under law. That’s not how it works. If you rebel you’re an enemy of the state until you over throw it.

A lot of what you say is debatable and feels like mental gymnastics to avoid what you need to do. Ultimately it doesn’t matter. I don’t need to convince you, pain and suffering will.

Yeah, he’s a total idiot. That decision has held them back from so much progress… and for what? Saving a negligible amount of money on a very expensive car. Nice.
My personal explanation is that it is a power saving measure. I got the idea from a fan made Star Trek game called super Star Trek. One could move around with shield up all the time but you’d use up tons of energy
My other theory is that it has something to do with the deflector shields.
