The last few days there appears to be quite a bit of delay between the synchronization of instances. Am I imagining that or is there something going on?

As per the title, I'm curious of your thoughts on this concept. Methane from landfills are already used as a source of energy in many cases, but according to the EPA, a tremendous amount are not, and contribute 14% to the US's methane gas emissions.

I'm not terribly happy how the inventors of this tech are trying to keep it a trade secret, and their estimate that an installation will cost between 1 to 10 million takes it out of reach a backyard solarpunk from taking advantage of it (though it sounds like it could be DIY'd with enough know-how).

On the face of it, if it makes more landfills become viable as a source of energy to reduce use of fossil fuels, it seems like it could be a useful tool against climate change. The best case scenario would be that a local energy co-op is able to afford the initial startup cost to get it operational, ideally using repurposed engines from used cars.

What do y'all make of it?

Her mom, a feral one who has avoided our capture, dropped Football on our porch one day and I invited her in. That was about 4 years ago.

The EMMC on my PC-TV finally broke down and I'd like to replace it with something that doesn't run an OS or will predictably fail with a countdown. But dumb TVs are hard to come by and monitors come at a premium at that size. I want to run a PC (DP/HDMI) and an SBC (HDMI) with it. I also have an S2 satellite cable, but that's secondary. I'd like to have ~43", 16:9, 4K but without an embedded smart-hub, ideally running of eeprom-firmware, or just anything independent of write-cycles. But I can't find any good options online. Are there companies for this. Comments and recommendations welcome.

Ben Robbins (the creator of Microscope RPG) has laid out a few problems they see in the current state of scenes and recently some ideas to tackle those perceived problems (https://arsludi.lamemage.com/index.php/3449/a-microscope-for-the-people/).

Has anyone tried these yet? How did these changes affect gameplay? Did you like the effect of those changes? And did you make any changes to dictated scenes (I'm asking this because the blog post seems to be mostly focused on acted scenes)?

This is also an opportunity to give your thoughts on the current state of scenes and what could be changed.

(I hope discussion about a specific game is allowed in this community)

Virgil Texas, cohost of Bad Faith, a political interview podcast:

There is absolutely no one on the anticapitalist left who is concerned about the prospect of the Democratic Party winning the votes of podcast listeners. The notion is hilarious, though.

I guess he's not dead.
