All that means is what Bandai already does with their games, the copyright notice at the start of the game (or in the options menu) includes a line saying something to the effect of (we reserve the right to terminate this game as a digital service at any time.)
I'm pretty sure I remember like my PS1 games having a disclaimer on the cases that you're buying a single license and not a physical product or whatever. I'm guessing back then the concern was about having to warranty scratched up discs tho maybe
Yeah and it fucking sucks. It's not even like a rental; it's an unspecified and finite amount of time and then your purchase is nothing.
