The last year has just felt like "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it"
Those who do learn from history are doomed to powerlessly watch the world repeat it.
"History is bunk" is such a common mantra for credulous internet chuds that buy into digital tulip mania, cults of personality, and carnival barkers over and over again.
