Socialism is wrong, capitalism is right. Capitalists shall own the means of production because they are mean. Socialists shall only own the nices of production!
Maybe if you reworded it this joke could get over the line but only barely. Something like:
"Y'all fighting over the means of production and here I am searching for the kindness of production"
It will never be very funny on its own.

Socialists put the means of production in reeducation camps, so that they'll become nice. But only if the mean is an outlier. Then the median get gradually converted into mode and society is run by and for the mode class.
I get the pun but it seems you had us a little too convinced in the first half.
