I exactly understand your position. I am 78 years old and this Cybertruck (Robot) is my first Tesla. My wife has been telling me for years exactly what the new truck has been telling me. I tend to wave my hands when I’m speaking. I am drawn to the screen to modify settings, radio stations, and the like. Full Self Driving scolded me, particularly during our first several-hour trip when it shut off FSD for the last 1/2 hour. I suddenly became responsible for the Cybertruck steering wheel, accelerator, and brake. WAKE UP time for me.

Boy I love that there are millions of people like this who are allowed to pilot huge death machines!

I have taken 14 hour shifts driving a car down empty ass highways in the sticks with clear signage and road markings in excellent weather in summer with adaptive cruise control & lane centering and I still didn't take my hands off the wheel or foot off the pedal because that's how driving works. This fossilized menace cries because his car asks him to pay attention to the controls

adaptive cruise control & lane centering

Or as Tesla calls it, "full self driving" lmao

Even in the most optimal possible conditions for a car to drive itself I'm not letting go of the controls because I don't know or trust the car to react to anything but keeping a 12 car distance between me and the next car
