what reason exactly? Was it because "america would never put a white woman in an ad" or because "there's no way an Asian guy can have a redhead daughter"
idk some people just do this thing where they adhere to social norms for no other reason than it being a social norm
The reason being that they've presented a "traditional family unit". Fuckers got themselves to dick ride McDonald's purely because of an ad they weren't the target audience for. That was the ballistic reaction, and it made me laugh how easily you can manipulate a right wing mind to relinquish the hatred they once had towards a brand or idea if only you decide to pander to them.
It rustled their bigoted jimmies so much it got me to think how easy it is to stir their pot. They are so shallow.
One joke I've read that was pretty on point actually was: "Don't ask a white supremacist what's their preferred ethnicity for women". That made me chuckle.
I've never seen anyone justify going to McDonald's in this way, not explicitly or even in a roundabout way. Maybe because I and my friends don't really conform to social norms anyway.
The only time we went to McDonald's together is because they were hungry and had no cheaper alternative available. It's bad when it comes to food in shopping galleries here, like really bad.
