I think its weird when you have explicit ethnic divisions in fantasy setting but also every place is a melting pot. Like how can you tell that a guy is from Fantasy Realmia when fantasy realmia has every skin color from white to black to green to blue and also seven different kinds of half demon and samurai and vikings coexisting, and so does here.

Theres only a few properties that do this though. Most just have humans of varying hues without it mattering, or ethnic groups with explicitly different origins and homelands. Either of which would seem like they shouldn't bother anyone. Like why would it be weird that a guy is brown when another guy over there is blue, and conversely why would it be weird that a guy from another place is different. "Somehow" people get mad still.
