The physics had to be seen to be believed in 2003 and made the shootouts so much fun

Okay but MP1 does all that better tho, without the weight of a turbocringe romance subplot.

But there's no physics in MP1, certainly no ragdolls and I'm pretty sure every prop and object is fully bolted down. 2 came out just when video game developers were starting to fall in love with Havok physics

I'd rather play FEAR if I desperately need a shootybang with ragdolls and physics...

MP2 is just annoying though, like the entire first level where you play as Mona is such a trash level, the dream bits from MP1 are less annoying. MP1 is still really fun to blast people in.
