Listen, Jack, I commend Hamas. It's called Mandatory Palestine because they've gotta have it, and that's just how the ice cream swirls. Nakba? Nakb-onna be happening anymore.

Actually why is it Mandatory though? Result of an agreement with somebody? Weird nomenclature.
Because the br*tish were given colonial control through a League of Nations Mandate, so it just specifies that it was the period when Palestine was under a mandate
