jesus christ. so NYPD with their overwhelming numbers and budget and sheer bordem just light up crowds of people because someone has a fucking knife and jumped a fare
imagine being the guy just going about your day and getting suddenly domed in the brain and likely never coming back the same person if at all
then you have dozens of pigs every square meter and can't just let the fare guy walk or when he pulls the knife just corner him, get a working taser, fuck order a dozen of those chinese catcher poles, anything but blast away at everyone because of a fucking KNIFE and a couple DOLLARS
Correction: they decided he had a knife using their psychic pig powers. Because he wouldn't take his hands out of his pockets.
They just opened up on some guy for literally no reason after their electroshock torture guns failed.
he had a knife "in his pocket." guarantee he didn't even take it out or they would have said that. they only found out he had one after they shot him. honestly pretty good chance it was planted but i'll wait for the bodycam footage that is surely forthcoming.
I mean, that’s exactly what they’re here for. They’re just getting back to their historic roots is what it sounds like to me.
