I never defended prabowo for anything, im just reporting the confirmation of what imperialist forces are doing in the protests.

With china successfully winning over the middle countries through practice - even the right wing forces - its going to take the us installing ideologically committed compradors to create backwards forces to chinas progress. These global south countries are middle forces, and even despite domestic conservatism or liberalism we should support their right to self determination, not US backed regime change.

Its entirely possible that like in Chile for instance, the uprisings lead to progressive conditions, but for that to be the case thered need to be an organized left to institutionalize those advances.

brian berletic's vid on indonesia confirms the presence of USAID / ford foundation backed groups in the protests.

it's pretty obvious to anybody who has been following color revolutions for a while that there are definite imperialist forces moving in the protests. especially in recent years, SEA has been a hot-bed of color revolution forces that the US has been building to destabilize the region in a new arab spring.

The potential of a color revolution is less that the revolutionary conditions are because of the us instead of internal contradictions, and more so that all the islamist and socialist parties are for the most part incoherent petty bourgeois parties w "left" parties in coalition w "right" parties, including those "socialist" parties that are in coalition w prabowo.

Just 7 months ago indonesia finally was announced as a brics partner by brazil and prabowo has made a significant shift towards multipolarity, so im sure the us appreciates the revolutionary situation and i have no doubt that just like ukraine they are doing whatever they can to make the situation fall out in their favor.

Again its because our society is coated in violence due to the ways in which the capitalist-imperialist system forces every person here to be both complicit and on the receiving end of some forms of violence, overt or covert.

The CEO of Unitedhealthcare is 1000% complicit in the immiseration and loss of life of probably millions, and im sure he didnt lose any sleep over it. Sometimes that violence will blow back and thats just the nature of being the perpetrator of violence.

Allegedly Pezeshkian has put out a statement saying that they were promised a ceasefire if they did not retaliate for Haniyeh's death and they were lied to. (Obviously)

Goes to show how strong the demand is for a ceasefire. Every single time ive heard somebody reporting from Gaza it seems like every day the people are desperate to know when a ceasefire will arrive, making the demand on the side of the negotiators so high up as a priority but obviously the Zionists and US are just using it as a form of political warfare as thousands die.

Also seeing reports of a thwarted terrorist attack in Iran today. If this new status quo becomes consolidated, it looks like the regional war started yesterday.

"In fact, we carried, before we had a pride flag, we carried the North Vietnamese flag as our pride flag. Now you could hear that and think “well that’s interesting”, but it wasn’t just an abstract thing.

(And by the way, I know there’s some people who have to leave at, uh, for a nursing class here; nobody’s gonna look at you funny when you go. I know people are starting to get nervous about—don’t worry, you go with our grace.)

So, the Gay Liberation Front and the Third World Liberation Front named themselves in solidarity with the North Vietnamese people at a time when that was considered treason. That’s like now, coming out and defending the resistance of the Iraqi people, the Palestinian people, the North Korean people, the Iranian people, the Cuban people. We face getting beaten up on the streets for marching with the Vietnamese flag but we knew that if we didn’t defend the Vietnamese people we were gonna weaken, first of all the people who deserved our support because we were the aircraft carrier in which the war was being launched in all our names. We would lose the solidarity with the Vietnamese people and we would lose our own political souls and movement as well if we didn’t take a position in support.

We were supporters on the front lines of the women’s liberation movement even when there were some who didn’t want us to be there—who said ooh, if you could just get out of the way, because you know, we’re strong women and they’re calling us lesbians [be]cause you’re around. We’re like, excuse me, we’re withstanding the lesbian invading—you better get used to that. As strong women you better get used to saying “and yes, many of us are!” Because otherwise, you’ll just back yourself right off a cliff. And I would ask you, do we have an equal rights amendment today? It was not a winning strategy.

We were involved in all these struggles, but not because we said it’s gonna be a tit-for-tat: “I’ll do this if you’ll do that. I’ll come to your demo Wednesday if you come to mine Thursday.” We did it because we knew it was a fight we had to join and be a part of. And it strengthened all—"
