There are good ways to pull it off but I'm not confident this will be anything but gamer slop.
My controversial take is that if it took only a movie to make someone into a chud,they were always going to be a chud
God, can't fuckin w8 for the left to think it's brilliant satire that shows the culmination of our modern policies, the right to think it's a brilliant depiction of an ideal world, and everyone to hate it because it's a video game movie.

It should be a beat for beat Starship Troopers (1997) copy, maybe with some of the names of things changed. Every line exactly the same. Dig up the OG actors and do not mention how old they look in boot camp.

Who the fuck gives a shit what chuds think about a fucking movie adaptation of a videogame? Like come on people this shit literally doesn't fucking matter, what have we done to the world and movies and games when we think that a fucking movie adaption of a shitty ass videogame matters? Just don't think about it, this matters as much as the Doom movie or the mortal kombat movie from twenty years ago.
It matters because my twitter feed (I refuse to call it X) is going to be full of assholes telling me how the bugs are obviously evil because they're ugly (and therefore deserve to be genocided) replying to me whenever I try to crack jokes with my dirtbag lefty friends about how all these people who watched the movie and didn't "get it" like me (and my dirtbag lefty friends who totally exist) are the guy in this picture and that irritates me a lot
dude im sorry to have to tell you this, but it is time to stop going on twitter. if they hadn't introduced that shitty algorithm of theirs you wouldn't need to see any posts of any chuds and no chud/chud bots would comment on your posts. i liked twitter too, but ive stopped going there after realizing that if i stayed i'd at some point write some comment on some zionist assholes post that would later be used in court against me.

Anyway, my sincere position is that I'm not taking it all that seriously, that yes in the grand scheme of things this isn't important relative to a lot of other stuff, but also that I was under the impression that this was a website were we could commiserate and laugh at absurdity's like the right taking Verhoeven's Starship Troopers (or the videogame Helldivers) at face value.
