that's pretty much the case with anything mac, and it's why i constantly rant at my employer(i work in IT) how fucking stupid it is we let people have Macs if they want.

Everything we use works on windows. A bunch of shit doesnt work on Mac. It's really fucking stupid having a mixed environment. So far as i can tell the people who want the most are morons in marketing and morons on the west coast of the USA.

Plus the people who choose Mac don't actually know how to use it any better compared to windows, they just like the shiny toy.

also we have to use other 3rd party software to manage them. and when we move to AzureAD im pretty sure they are very fucked.

I mean a Mac port at this point wouldn't just be an OS compatibility layer, Apple is using ARM for everything at this point. The easy port would be made for Intel Macs apple doesn't sell anymore. I think we probably would have seen a MacOS port if Apple hadn't switched to ARM.

So the CS2 "upgrade" was literallly Valve overnight shutting down their game without any prior warning? Did they even mention it would no longer be playable on macOS beforehand?
