Trump is loud but even now he’s only like #3 for worst presidents of my lifetime.
GWB was easily the worst, and at the very least if we’re comparing Biden to Trump’s first term Biden was also worse.
Was talking with a friend and I brought up "never Trump" Republicans. He said, "I've always respected them"
I said, "oh, I don't. They're demons." Lol
This is why liberals are so impotent against Trump because ultimately they don’t want to destroy him, they want to be friends with him. They want him to have an about face, come to Jesus moment and starts having steak dinners with Schumer and Jeffries.
Democrats are being gunned down and they're still bragging about having Republican friends. Truly fascinating people.
The Senate was never meant to be adversarial - they were supposed to be the adults in the room that refined the legislation that came from the House (look up the phrase “the cooling saucer”). While there has always been a political divide, we’re living in a period of intense partisan hackery & obstructionism.
Reminds me of a scene from the West Wing:
Almost like the senate always sucked and served as a check on the representatives who at least had some popular support.
I love when these freaks praise the specifically bad things about the founding generation. Hamilton brainrot though I know it predates that obvs
has an entire subreddit dedicated to gushing over US presidents
I always love/hate reading about friendships that cross party lines because it proves us right about them all
It's one big club...and you ain't in it! (Neither is JD Vance he never gets invited to the Epstein parties)
Rehabbing bush is everything you need to know about the Democratic party. They found their identity by "opposing" bush and the war(s) in the middle east
Literally doing the memes in the comments.
