A broken clock...

Happy that this particular lunatic is right on this particular issue.

[–] crank0271@lemmy.world 143 points 18 hours ago (9 children)

I'm going to guess that Russia doesn't want us to enter the war.

[–] scytale@lemmy.zip 110 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago) (1 children)

Probably. Tucker Carlson is saying the same thing, so their handlers are telling them “nope, we don’t like that”.

[–] ApathyTree@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 15 hours ago

Mmm I can’t wait to see the unintended consequences of that backpedaling.

God I hope there are some..

I'm guessing everyone with a brain doesn't want the US to go into Iran. It's like these people didn't learn anything from the last quarter century (and Vietnam before that).

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 33 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Learn things? With our education system??? Buddy! What do you think this is??? A different country? Who's this other country you're thinking about??? They sound like someone we need to go to war with! Do they have oil?

Not to mention the terrain of Iran would prove an order of magnitude more difficult to overcome. Afghanistan was already very difficult for our military, imagine MORE mountains

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 24 points 16 hours ago

Yep, huge country, difficult terrain, largely homogeneous culture that goes back to the Persian Empire, homegrown weapons industry that can build their own drones and missiles. This is going to be more difficult by orders of magnitude.

[–] RestrictedAccount@lemmy.world 15 points 14 hours ago

Putin gets his drones from Iran

A republican being anti-Fox News? That's a bold strategy.

Before you get too excited, this was an interview with OAN, and that she thinks people should be paying more attention to OAN

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 10 points 11 hours ago

Going on OAN and calling Fox News right wing propaganda is peak irony.

[–] itisileclerk@lemmy.world 5 points 10 hours ago

The moment when craziest person is giving you most sane advice ...

[–] BoycottPro@lemm.ee 8 points 11 hours ago

MTG is brainwashed by RT, tin foil hat conspiracy theories and memes from random people. Basically Fox News and NY Post are not crazy enough for her.

[–] owenfromcanada@lemmy.ca 109 points 18 hours ago (8 children)

Brainwashed by what, MTG? Is it the Jewish space lasers again?

What exactly is this woman’s platform?

[–] Lodespawn@aussie.zone 88 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

"brown people can fuck off and deal with their own brown people shit"

[–] Placebonickname@lemmy.world 39 points 18 hours ago (4 children)

You should print this on a bumper sticker and sell it in Texas.

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 32 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Man I would be so rich if I just didn't have a moral compass

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 12 points 15 hours ago

Isn't it fascinating.

Like the other day I learned just how easy it would be to make an AI "character" and sell "nudes" to men on only fans.

Like if all the people scalping the Switch 2 had any clue how much they could make doing that, I'd be able to buy a Switch 2. Then I could do it too to make money to buy the Switch 2 games.

But unlike scalpers, my empathy prevents me from telling people there's sex in the VIP room.

"Keep me in power and, more importantly, the spotlight"

She's an attention whore. Nothing more, nothing less. It's why she married her pedophile husband: he gave her attention when she was underage.

Holy shit, sanity from MTG?? WHAT PLANET IS THIS

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 27 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago)

"We have propaganda news on our side just as the left does"

Greene claimed that since Carlson was fired from "neocon network Fox News, he has more popularity and viewers than ever before" and that "he unapologetically believes the same things I do."

Yeah, nah.

[–] Chozo@fedia.io 22 points 16 hours ago

And just whose fault IS that, Marjorie?

[–] KnitWit@lemmy.world 40 points 18 hours ago

Heartbreaking, the worst person you know just made a great point

[–] spacer13@lemm.ee 12 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

She's just holding out for more concessions using their marginal bloc

You know, I was pretty adapted to this whole "dumbest reality" thing. I thought I had a good handle on it.

Now I'm agreeing with Bimbo Spacelasers on a political stance... I'm literally having an existential crisis to that.
