Sad answer is that live not too far from an active abbatoir. So, unfortunately not that far away.

i live atop a giant cow. her name is tortmooga. all the stars in the night sky. drops of milk strewn across the endless shadow grassland of the hereafter. revolving with boundless speed. ungulating into infinite bovinity.
As the crow flies, or actual travel time? 'cos there's, like, an hour difference between those.

It depends on whether or not the rodeo is in town. For one month a year, I am 15 minutes away from many cows.
I could probably jog right now and make it to a cow before I collapsed.

10-20 miles. Although, knowing my neighbors, I wouldn't be too surprised if there was one within a couple miles right now.
Some family down the street from where I work has their cow out grazing about twice a week. So about a 5 minute walk.

Like an hour, buggers are everywhere creating some issues. I don't like them eating the plants. :(

like cow in a field type thing, probably ~3 miles or so maybe less, I live kinda on the outskirts of the city, it's cheaper and quieter for the most part, but I can still get downtown on my bike in 30 mins pretty easily

Probably five to ten minutes. There's a bunch of farms out here - they're mostly horses but I'm sure somebody has a cow.

Used to live in audible moo range, now I'm like 5 to 8 minutes away from the nearest cow.
less than 1000m, but i'm about to catch a bus, so generally about 4000m
About 1-2 miles, but the cow numbers are quite limited. Probably 10 miles before I reach high cow density.
