Over a dozen members of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s family, including six of his siblings, are endorsing President Biden in Philadelphia Thursday even as he makes his own bid for Biden's job as an independent candidate.

Kennedy's sister, Kerry Kennedy, is expected to praise Mr. Biden as a leader in the mold of her father, Robert F. Kennedy, who "stood for equal justice, human rights and freedom from want and fear — just as President Biden does today," according to excerpts of her remarks released by the Biden campaign.

Her father served as attorney general in John F. Kennedy's administration and was running for president himself when he was assassinated in 1968.

Speaking for the family members who are endorsing Mr. Biden, Kerry Kennedy will also have harsh words for presumptive Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump.

I don't get along with everyone in my family. I don't agree politically with everyone in my family. But despite our differences, I believe they would all vote for me if I ran for something. Maybe I have one uncle who would quietly vote for someone else and not tell me or make a big deal about it.

It's really hard to imagine being such a fucking nutcase that my siblings would publicly endorse my opponent.

This is even worse than not voting or endorsing, they’re advocating against his candidacy, and admitting he’s just a Trump election tool. someone’s not getting a Christmas card

My dad wouldn't vote for me, but he also wouldn't go out of his way to publicly endorse someone else, specifically to make it clear that he doesn't think anyone else should vote for me too.

Actually, he might even vote for me, figuring at least it would be one of his kids being the politician ripping off the public (I wouldn't, but he'd assume I would).

“We at QAnon need to spread the word that there is only one real Kennedy running in 2024, and that’s J.F.K., Jr.,” he said. “Accept no substitutes.”

Fuck, you reminded me that Trump was so bad he made Bush2 look good.

For any youngins out there:

https://youtu.be/TxNprnas7i8?feature=shared

Al-Zaidi said Bush's "bloodless and soulless smile" and his joking banter provoked him. I don't know what accomplishments he was talking about. The accomplishments I could see were the more than 1 million martyrs and a sea of blood. There are more than 5 million Iraqi orphans because of the occupation.... More than a million widows and more than 3 million displaced because of the occupation." al-Zaidi said.

The world hated Bush2. This journalist snapped out of rage and bush is telling jokes because he doesn't understand the cultural context surrounding the insult of someone throwing unclean shoes at you.

Gods I wish that shoe hit

Africa actually liked Bush2 because he sent a lot of foreign aid there during his tenure. Helped a lot with their AIDs pandemic at the time.

EDIT: d’oh!! Different RFK Jr.!:

Kennedy, who is now fifty-eight years old, was subpoenaed …

2004-58=1946

Famous RFK Jr. Birthday: 1954

Recovering addicts - aight

COVID conspiracies - noooo

Now, question: why don’t need articles come up about RFK’s 2000s-era cocaine sale charges?

[–] AreaSIX@lemm.ee 2 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Sentenced to 420 months, haha. Why didn't he serve the sentence? Anyone know what fuckery they pulled?

Honestly, as it's the Kennedy family, i expect this is a political maneuver rather than some patriotism or morality. I wonder how many of these family members were promised appointments for themselves in return? I am looking forward to finding out after Biden wins.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Her father served as attorney general in John F. Kennedy's administration and was running for president himself when he was assassinated in 1968.

Speaking for the family members who are endorsing Mr. Biden, Kerry Kennedy will also have harsh words for presumptive Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump.

The excerpts did not contain any mention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., but several of his family members have already expressed their opposition to his candidacy.

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend — called his decision to oppose Mr. Biden "dangerous to our country."

Last month, on St. Patrick's Day, Mr. Biden gave members of the extended Kennedy family a private tour of the Oval Office and West Wing and celebrated with them and hundreds of guests at a holiday reception.

Several of the Kennedys will be joining Mr. Biden for a grassroots organizing event and will help with voter outreach, according to the campaign.

The original article contains 507 words, the summary contains 151 words. Saved 70%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
