Drake accused Kendrick of beating his fiance and his manager cucking him

Kendrick doesn't even dignify that with a response, simply says he's predictable and will insult his family. Calls Drake a pedophile

Drake responds by saying "If I was a pedophile I would've been arrested," among many other desperate defenses. Bro keeps saying Kendrick beats his wife and got cucked but won't provide any receipts. He claims the daughter story was cooked up by him, but he doesn't show any text messages or calls between his double agent and Kendrick's crew lol. His only evidence is Kendrick's manager commenting an emoji on his fiance's pics.

I think he's bluffing about the daughter story being a plant. Would that not be the easiest thing to prove ever? If it was true, Drake would've been resting easy knowing Kendrick was gonna pounce on Family Matters with the daughter story, dropped some receipts showing that he was behind the story in the first place, and just sat back like sit-back-and-enjoy

Yeah like maybe he waits for Kendrick to respond before showing to make him look like a fool? But given how Drake acted towards Fantano in the vegan cookie recipe incident from last year, I highly doubt he has the kind of scheming instinct to do some 5d chess play like that. I'm fairly confident that he's just hoping Kendrick doesn't have definitive evidence like Pusha T did, and neither have to show receipts which would just leave us at the same place we started; Kendrick backs down from the deadbeat allegations because he only has hearsay, no one is surprised to hear Drake is a groomer, and the Kendrick DV accusations are a nothingburger with no evidence either.

Wish I could say we got some bangers out of it, but the only song I've really vibed with outside of the context of dunking on Drake is Euphoria. I haven't heard all the Drake tracks back from when the beef started, but I just generally have no patience for his music so I doubt I'll get much out of that either.

He already pulled this move in this song. Kendrick has like 3 songs released back to back calling Drake a pedophile.

Drake claims that some "clowns" gave fake information to Kendrick about Drake's secret daughter - but Drake also says it was on purpose, which would imply he's a clown lol. But he never shows any texts or calls between the fake mole and Kendrick's team which would've discredited Kendrick's claims. Concocting a story about you and your friends being pedophile sex traffickers doesn't seem like it'll benefit you at all, and on top of that, he also seems very upset in this track despite saying he's not tilted which doesn't seem like a reaction one would have if you gave your opp fake info and anticipated it'll be used against you lol.

He also doesn't show any proof that Kendrick beats his fiance which would've discredited Kendrick's high horse stance on women in previous songs.

I don't think Drake's story is that inconsistent, if we take him at face value there could just be the real mole that gave the Ozempic/Ambien info, (the clown Drake talks about, who presumably also gave the info about OVO protecting pedophiles ) as well as a double agent mole that fed Kendrick the daughter story. That said, it still doesn't check out given the lack of evidence which would be trivial for Drake to produce, even if there is a world where Kendrick now has to back down if he feels the weight of the proof he has has been called into question before he even reveals it. shrug-outta-hecks

It's already known that Drake and MBB have been "acquainted" for a while now, starting when she was 14 lol. So he didn't reveal anything previously unknown. He also addressed it in a previous song. It's still weird to name drop the girl who's subject of criminal abuse speculation - you'd think a smart person would avoid mentioning names at all. But Kendrick called him uncalculated so lol

i've been about as sympathetic to drake in this as someone who thinks drake is mostly incredibly corny can be, but pretty damning which i missed because i dont catalogue all of kendrick's trauma/only listened to his latest record two times probably, from genius:

Drake references “Mother I Sober” by Kendrick Lamar, the 17th track of Lamar’s 2022 release Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers where he delves into his sexual traumas:

Family ties, they accused my cousin, “Did he touch you, Kendrick?” Never lied, but no one believed me when I said “He didn’t”

As that quote implies, it should be noted that Kendrick makes it explicitly clear in the song that he wasn’t molested. . . . Drake also inadvertently proves Kendrick right with this line. In his April 2024 track “euphoria,” Kendrick predicted that that Drake would resort to lies built on the subject matter in Lamar’s 2022 release:

I calculate you’re not as calculated, I can even predict your angle Fabricatin' stories on the family front ‘cause you heard 'Mr. Morale’

kendrick predicted (or does in fact have a leak that had access to drake's chambered bars) the best part of drake's rebuttal. he literally pre-cooked him lol.

I think it's a little of column a, a little of column b in that a lot was predictable; but I also think there's only one or two leaks EXTREMELY CLOSE to Drake at the same time. Like, never mind new OVO signees or ghostwriters; I'm betting at least one of the leaks is 40. It's always the closest ones to you.

i'm not sure there's a possible way to combat these sorts of allegations; obviously pointing out that drake's "too famous" could barely be considered exculpatory -- framing the issue as projection from kendrick and refocusing on kendrick's absenteeism is as good a swing as any.

You're right that you can't really combat them, but Drake has two definitive pieces of evidence that prove that he is a nonce or groomer, and they even contradict a couple lines in his song lol. But, if Drake was actually telling the truth about Kendrick, he could've discredited Kendrick and diverted attention away from this by showing he is a wife beater. But he just keeps referring to it while saying "I don't touch girls. I'm not a pedophile. I'm famous, okay???" Like dude is almost a billionaire. He doesn't have any lawyers on retainer that could give him basic courtroom tactics?
