Just hit random and get a bunch of cool old sites like this https://rosydolly.neocities.org/

I don't get nostalgia for many things but I do miss the Internet of '95-'01. Shit just felt so different back then. Message boards, interesting conversations with actual people, the feeling that the future was going to be good.

Yeahh :(

I wasn't around for then but I do kinda remember the tail end right before the internet began its terminal melting in the mid 2010s

That can't exist anymore but there has to be a future beyond this...

Regardless I need to make myself a website like that lol

Hell yeah Neocities.

Cameron's World is the best "THIS IS WHAT THEY TOOK FROM US" site I like to show people who never got on the internet until like 2006.

The internet I grew up using was the 2010s so this site definitely caught me off guard.

Everytime someone says the old internet I assume they're talking about the 2010s/ late 2000s. I completely forgot that these types of websites were a thing in the 90s/early 2000s

It’s crazy how atomized the internet is—so many cool communities and sites I only ever knew about by accident.

I've been wondering about if that side of the internet still exists, pretty great
