“Then die sooner” - Doctors in the American healthcare system.

Joke aside tho, fucking miserable situation to be in. Ran into a similar situation with my asthma. I’m not gonna magically stop having asthma, why do I need to prove it every time I need an inhaler refill?

Its mostly just a minor annoyance I have to go through once a year. Same medication daily for 20+ years, no change and yet

more like a wealthcare system. Banks masquerading as hospitals and ambulatory care clinics. Best system in the world, folks.

Fucking nonsense… you have an history of getting the script and are already going to pay for the meds out of pocket. Stop making more hoops to jump through!!!

It's largely the insurance companies (who are in the insurance [finance] business of course, not healthcare)

Yeah, very true.

Uh actually this is a scheduled medication, so I'll need to meet you in person and cough directly into your face for half an hour. And if you ask me to mask I'll diagnose GAD. Being physically in the same space as you makes sure I can monitor for any suspicious fidgeting which could indicate drug-seeking behavior, a thing that is definitely not made up by insurance companies and the DEA.

You know what would make it easier to get a job and insurance? Being terribly depressed.
