me beating Tactics Ogre after like 150 hours and sitting on the endscreen for like ten minutes wondering when it'll loop back to the title
This does seem to pop up in Japanese RPGs a lot
Bugs the fuck out of me cause it means I can't have a completed save...
It makes sense though, since it's not like these old games have a new game plus or something. It's probably partly a stylistic choice to make the game feel more like a movie or book
Games aren't movies unless they're on the Sega CD or books unless they're twine though :3
