Every stupidly situational thing will save your life at some point, your runs that succeed will be stitched together of those types of moments, and you'll lose everything you ever get attached to to some fucking enemy you couldn't avoid a melee slugfest with when you miss 23 attacks in a row because you were out of alternatives.

Well in my brief foray into the game I definitely had the first part down.
Then ur doing great. Keep on doing that and the second step will come by itself
I wouldn't quite say by itself: You need to take a bit of time when you die to figure out why you died and what to try and change about your approach for next time
