He absolutely nailed it, actually. The fact that you posted it speaks to the success of the viral marketing campaign. If you're in doubt that this is an ad, either turn on sound or notice that the weirdly big URL tag on his pullover goes unpractically over the zipper.

Yup, it's very well staged.

I seriously don't mind it. A good ad deserves the attention. There used to be awards and trophies for good ads, but most advertising agencies just don't give a shit anymore. This is a refreshing take from the click bait, the misinformation and the obtrusive pop ups.

or notice that the weirdly big URL tag on his pullover goes unpractically over the zipper.

Or just that the url contains the word "shop". That's usually a pretty reliable sign that someone's selling something 🤷

This dude's English teacher was clearly a Jamaican

Actually dude's English teacher was an amazing polyglot. Tony from LC Signs is just a master of accents and can switch from one to the next in an instant. Really impressive. He's like a big star on Instagram (and probably tiktok?), sometimes LC Sign runs someone else do a bit and everyone complains that they want Tony back. Tony's original accent was something southern.
