The movie fad of "the serial killer is such a genius that he consistently predicts everyone else's movements and everyone is playing his game" was such a dull one. I never liked gore as a horror gimmick to begin with so sitting through most such movies was a chore for both writing asspulls and spectacle over horror substance.

This game does similar gimmicks and it sucks here too. Civvie has some good commentary at least.

I shall not stand for this Condemned: Criminal Origins slander. It's a wonderfully atmospheric and unique horror game, an all-time great

spoilerAs long as you can stomach the game's absurd reality where all homeless people are basically feral, homicidal zombies that the FBI agent protagonist has to casually kill by the dozens as he combs through various spooky abandoned buildings for clues
