You do not go against the interests of the bourgeoisie in this country. Not even as a joke. Look at how they treated Elizabeth Warren even as a very mild critic of the establishment. My reflex is that she would cease to be alive in short order.

Maybe that would be too chaotic, so other options would be pursued, but I would be very surprised if she was able to force any kind of pivot with material consequences.

If she did this, she would earn my vote.

But the CIA would assassinate her the next day.

There would be a lot of outrage from her donors and calls of antisemitism from various organizations.

Whether she would actually commit is the real question. My cynical ass would approach it the same way I did when Obama promised to close Guantanamo.

I imagine it would be similar to what happened with Biden and Obama when Biden endorsed same sex marriage and they just had to run with it.

Probably wouldn't change much but if she did it I would probably grudgingly vote for her.

I think it would be completely ignored by all media. Either no coverage at all, or if it couldn't be immediately contained the news cycle would move on after 12 hours and would be quickly "forgotten". Meanwhile she would be disciplined quietly to act as though it had never happened or otherwise neutralized.

It would probably be the largest split in the Democrats ever, possibly enough to destroy the whole party. Bigger than even the previous splits over the 14th amendment or the civil rights act.

The question would be if Harris survives until before or after the election, but she probably wouldn't win if she suddenly announced opposition to the entity.
