Listening to a song I remembered from years ago, I heard this sample (timestamp just before it starts): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQu1TBIMSSk&t=191s

I recognized it as the same one that was used in the soundtrack for the video game Bastion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPWmrwF4MOI&t=25s

I might have bad ears but to me it sounds like the exact same sound. If so, does anybody know where it comes from originally?

Sadly it wasn't on there, but thanks for the link, I found the origin of a different sample in a completely different song by a different artist that I've also been wondering about, so that was cool.
