Someone introduced me to this on Hextube last night. Before I read the video description I had assumed "Ix̱six̱án, Ax̱ Ḵwáan" was the name of the song, however turns out that IAK is the name of the music group and the song is named "Spirit". Apparently "Ix̱six̱án, Ax̱ Ḵwáan" means "I Love You, My People". This channel has two other songs by the same group, one actually called "Ix̱six̱án, Ax̱ Ḵwáan", and one called "Zibit" — these have lyrics more in English but still have a lot of mixing with Tlingit.

I haven't heard much of the Tlingit language before now — what a language, though!! It reminds me in a number of ways of my favorite language, Circassian. Tlingit language is a very good bit of cultural heritage for the Tlingit people to take care of — and when songs like "Spirit" get made, I think this indicates that the language has a very bright future.
