Was Hamas really created by "Isr*el"?

That's the argument which is often made in good faith by re-visiting the "Isr*eli" dealings with the precursor to Hamas, known as the Mujamma al-Islammiyah, yet is an oversimplification of history .

However, this assumption is rooted in some key misunderstandings about the Hamas origin story and is also why this argument is not often accepted by Palestinians who carry a greater understanding of the history.

While some elements of the corporate media have attempted to paint "Isreli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as being the "bad apple" in "Isrel", the narrative that Hamas was created by "Isrel" and sustained by the "Isreli" PM helps fuel this notion.

MintPress staff writer Robert Inlakesh debunks the myth that Hamas was a creation of "Isr*el"

While sweeping statements regarding the origins of Hamas miss nuance, a greater understanding of the national liberation movement of the Palestinians fills in the gaps.

I’m p sure he’s a troll right?

Yeah , no doubt , if you check all of his posts on Quora , it all looks trollish . The guy is a complete fool .

As my Rabbi says ( he says it in Yiddish , but I will say it in Judeo-Arabic , because I don't know any Yiddish and I'm not a Ashkenazi Jew , I'm a Sephardi Jew 😂 ) : "צהאינה הם מתׄל גׄאהל וכסילים" , meaning : "Zionists are ignorant and foolish" .

Middle East tensions have been on the rise the past week following the assassinations of senior Hamas and Hezbollah figures and vows of revenge by Iran and Hezbollah. Numerous countries, including the U.S., the UK, France and many others, have urged their citizens to leave Lebanon as soon as possible in fear of a possible escalation of violence. What is the latest situation in the Middle East? Is a violent response by Iran now a certainty?

And how should the world community react and help bring the region back from the boiling point? Guests in this edition of Dialogue are Kawa Hassan, a nonresident fellow from the MENA program of the Stimson Center; Sara Yael Hirschhorn, visiting professor at the University of Haifa; and Rob Geist Pinfold, lecturer in peace and security at Durham University.
