The last few winters here have been these miserable cycles of freezing and thawing that leaves everything covered in sheets of ice. Growing up it was common to get snow in October or early November that would last until March/April, that hasn't happened in years though

I really miss having proper winters

We're supposed to have snow by now, I can't take another grey-brown "winter" that's full of freezing rain and slush

No I haven't, is it psionic?

Yea that and the firetruck photoshoot he did, dude likes him some big trucks and I can't blame him, big trucks are pretty cool.

Biden had something similar with him and amtrack before he became too senile to ride unsupervised, it's like the single thing about him I don't find repulsive

I didn't even know they made higher quality prints of that trash, all the ones I've picked up off park benches have been the cheapo prints

Edit: I have this specific comic too, I think the Bible kid ends up convincing his principal that he's going to hell for teaching evolution lol

How tf does Lee Harvey Oswald dome JFK in a moving car with a bolt action rifle while the dude who shot at Trump couldn't hit him while he was standing still? They really don't make 'em like they used to

I open up my textbook to read chapter one and what do I find? Is this the great replacement theory within the first 10 pages? Sure looks like it!

Also bonus advocating for countering "radical islamist groups" by "military and ideological means"

I haven't gotten a good feel for this prof but we are not off to a good start

Edit: Looks like I pirated the wrong text or something, I found the one my prof wants us to use and it's very different. Not sure why the two editions are so dramatically different but I'm still keeping an eye out for any fash shit

Pretty boring tbh. In typical American fashion it's not enough to be a story about surviving this force of nature and working around it because it ends with them "taming" a tornado by shooting rockets into at and using super absorbent materials to somehow dissipate it. There was also a side story about a land developer using storm chasers to buy up properties that have been hit by tornadoes, but it seemed weirdly muted and cut down, like it was edited out or something. You get a couple scenes of one of the storm chasers talking about making offers on property and one of the main character searching the land developer online but nothing really comes of it and they don't mention it at all after the climax. There was the kernel of an interesting story if they had maybe delved into this capitalist taking advantage of natural disasters in order to monopolize all the land in tornado alley but they obviously didn't go that route. All-in-all there was very little tension, even when there was a massive twister coming at them the main characters could somehow always ride it out in their modified product placement-mobile

I was also annoyed at the complete inconsistency regarding what would be thrown by a tornado and what can resist it. The same tornado dragged a streetcar across town and threw a pump jack into a water tower, but the product placement pickup truck with trailer somehow managed to resist being almost at the heart of the tornado without being catapulted hundreds of feet into the air.

By adding up all the posts in the News com and comparing them to the Trans mega I decree that the news posters are more online than the trans posters and therefore have won the posting Olympics. No I will not elaborate or show my findings thank you

Dunno if this is off topic, mods feel free to delete if it is, but I picked up a laptop that's a couple years old that needs a fan replacement. I've done a little googling but it's not clear which part(s) I need, where I could buy it, and if it would even be cost-effective to replace anyway.

I can post pics/more info in a couple hours, but in the meantime could anyone point me in the right direction where I can buy laptop fans or a guide on figuring out which fan I would need? I'm not worried about voiding any warranty or anything like that

Edit: the model number is 15-ek0018ca if that helps!

Or at least make people forget about it faster, and that is the presidential sons debate first proposed on chapo. Hunter vs Don Jr and Eric, a no holds barred, no muting mics, all substances allowed cage match debate. 3 men enter, 1 man leaves to be crowned Biggest Presidential Son. It won't do anything about Joe's liquifying brain but it might make people forget, plus with Hunter's charisma he can only help his dad's campaign

Someone else further down even pointed out that it was actually the British that strapped people to cannon muzzles to execute them, not the DPRK
