I work with young trump supporters starting families. They will be hurt so much by this bullshit.

I hope they can hear me laughing at them until they fucking die. They can all eat shit. Everyone's future is turbo fucked now because of their selfishness, and they will not be spared. I wish them every misery.

Great. I'll join in on the incitement of violence against those raping us out of our very existence.

Kill them all.

If capitalism is allowed to continue it will render humanity extinct. If we collapse now, and are reduced to a fraction of our population this century, humanity may live.

I don't enjoy that being the best option we have at this point. It brings me no joy. But what brings me less joy is knowing that we won't even make a choice. We will continue blindly waddling along and as capitalism consumes the world, we will wonder who will save us. And no one will.

He's stated they have the material and could have a nuke within weeks I believe.they have reactors so the material isn't hard to come by really

I agree but if a freak winter storm comes in, you may have to flee south temporarily. That's my point.

You'd be mistaken in thinking that everywhere will collapse at the same time. More than likely there are still "good" places to flee to. As the future collapse drags on they get fewer and fewer and less and less safe. But even just being "over there" is better than "here" in many cases.

Everyone should have something like that. In any emergency you can grab it and leave the house and be prepared.

I'm not trying to defend his character, nor every detail of his writings. You do not need to be absolutely beholden to a century old dead guy. Good place to start though. He did believe in revolution and I get it. I understand why and it doesn't seem wrong except we have the benefit of hindsight. Didn't work out so well the several times it was tried.

I was mostly arguing that he didn't want a dictator, it's just that, unfortunately, it seems his methods lead to that.

The difference between what he wrote and every communist regime that has existed, is the ones that existed all had Dear Leaders. He didn't call for that. So they straight up failed at the jump.

They attempt to approach communism as a flash, a sudden struggle for control and then all will be well. There needs to be groundwork laid, there needs to be a community will to push things in that direction. You cannot arrive at a true communist state through violent revolution. It will inevitably devolve into an authoritarian dictatorship. I feel like you have to progress through some levels of democracy and socialism to arrive at such a goal, and it must be done with the consent and agreement of most people.

Holy shit. Beautiful.

I am a part of this group and everyone I work with thinks that it is capitalism's fault, and the fault of the rich. The main problem is that they seem to think that the Republicans are going to help the poor because of decades of propaganda. There are a lot of conservatives who are in a prime position to be flipped. It's like hate fucking. There are strong emotions but love and hate are not opposites, if you can redirect that hate at the right people, they may actually flip sides.

I am feeling unusually optimistic today so take this with a grain of salt. Talk to them about the specifics you hate about capitalism and how things could be different. Don't mention ideologies.

The builders have made the 16 million empty homes in this country because they were just selling them to corporations. It's not that they are not hiding enough, it's that the rich have engulfed the entire pipe with their gluttonous mouths and there is nothing left for the rest of us.

When will we finally slay the beasts that are killing us?
