I love how this perfectly models how to handle misgendering / accidental deadnaming as well. Just a quick correction, adjusting, and moving on. No cis fragility or hand-holding.

To be clear, the dynamic is obviously different if the person keeps misgendering / deadnaming. The correct response then is:
