I don't even see them as controlled opposition anymore. They're competing (and generally friendly) fascist tendencies, nothing more- even the "reduce the imperial boomerang" is an overstatement, considering what we're actually talking about is them simply "not engaging in internal colonialism/oppression as much (in certain specific places)." Klanmala's history as a prosecutor is basically the textbook example of this.

Considering how unhinged Wehrmacht Waltz is I don't think that was a roll... but then again the bar is in hell

I don't believe the American people are good enough to reject genocide, but I'm willing to be proven wrong.

Pretty much. Though even then it's also a toss-up, because the system genuinely has nothing to offer and anyone with sense knows it, Klanmala's "joy" and genocidal vibes can't replace the actual material conditions Trump is calling out (though he won't fix them either).

A bad country, with a bad society (many good people, but a profoundly and perhaps inherently sick and wretched society), and admittedly they'll get what they deserve (same counts for my country and the entire west TBF).

Agreed. Not an accelerationist but my take on it now is that whatever accelerates the internal destruction of the imperial cores is generally the opposite of acceleration- if anything, progressive development, in the broader global context- just like how Nazi Germany and any other such regime should have fallen sooner than later. With industrial genocide ongoing in front of the entire world's eyes, with the west marching towards WW3 on multiple fronts- this is just how it is.

If anything, Klanmala is probably the actual accelerationist (WW3) candidate anyways, and just as genocidal and fascist.

The Pakistan(?) flag as well. It wasn't Trump that used the military to oust Imran Khan, it was Biden. Might even be argued (if they actually do pursue peace) that Ukraine should only be on the Democrat's rail.

And they have a natural baby-holder (pouch). Truly superior possum-mama

Reject placentalism, embrace marsupialism

If the circumstances permit (granted, things would have to get very dire for them to permit), I honestly hope that any and all of those who spewed this intolerable shit and actually materially supported either genocide-party face consequences, akin to how those who supported Nazism after Nazi Germany's fall did in the occupation (well, or were supposed to... the west screwed up the process for west Germany...)

It's not like it would be hard to track them down. Most of these genocidaires are proudly out there showing their asses for this genocide.

Honestly kinda hate that the narrative around China's first AAA game in the west had to be so toxic (due to "gaming journalism" smears- same as with any other western "journalism" they suck- and the anti-woke crowd)

[-] SadArtemis@hexbear.net 4 points 2 days ago

Why not both? Seems to me the only serious contenders trying to be POTUS this year were/are those trying to avoid prosecution (Trump, Biden) and those foolish and egotistical to want the throne again (Trump, Biden, Kamala).

Could this have been the whole point? I honestly wouldn't discount it

It's nice to hear how your parents have grown and learned as people- gives some hope for the Anglosphere, admittedly (not much but it's something).

Not white, and my experiences rural were when I was growing up as well, and while there was a lot that was alienating or even some that was really fucked up (in hindsight), there was also an incredible amount of humanity to be seen and given, the likes of which are increasingly lacking as you go up the class ladder.

Couldn't agree more to everything you said.

I think a lot of people see it that way, a culture they traded for dollars and a box set of Friends

And when you put it that way, oof. Not white but my parents traded much of theirs off for the bible and that didn't turn out well (as an understatement). Europe and the west will be spending a long time recovering, or trying to recover, from the "whiteness" they inflicted on themselves.

As someone whose partner is white I think I understand them a bit better seeing your comment as well. For me even if I wasn't raised in it and reconnecting with it is something I'll be doing all my life as a result, the identity and pride in it has always been strong (thanks to being a minority- the choice is either pride or shame IMO). I've often thought being white and having such easy assimilation must be both a blessing and a curse- but seeing you put it that way makes it sound even more wretched yet.
