I got a Boox, and it's been a godsend. I just sync it with my calibre library and it works like a charm. Calibre is also very useful when it comes to converting ebooks from one format to another, and to keep track of your books.

If you enjoyed journey, the pathless is pretty good, too. Stray is pretty good, as well.

They didn't develop it, but they published Journey, which might be one of the best video games ever made. Also the pathless is a personal favorite of mine.

For books I keep coming back to, physical is the way to go, because I'll have dog-eared and scribbled all over them. For books I don't know if I will use later, or that I reference sparingly, ebook is just fine.
