Holy fuck. Holy fuck. There's so much to unpack like every three sentences, but I'm stuck on this one:

Kash Patel, and the FBI, must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020, and arresting Thugs and Criminals, instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein.

  1. OK Yes President Trump the Epstein conspiracy is exclusively the domain of the RADICAL LEFT, thank you.
  2. ActBlue?

What conspiracies does the far right have around ActBlue? Like theres the clear material explanation that this is a major source of DNC funding and the GOP wants to cut it off. But there's probably some conspiracies around it if he's begging the qanon crowd to focus on it.

ActBlue, along with NGPVan, is a major obstacle to starting a third party, such that DSA is internally constructing replacements for both of them.

No fucking way that's real. No way qanon freaks are actually making him cry like that.

  1. The Anubis homepage uses the new meta-refresh strategy which should work on lynx since its doesn't use JavaScript.
  2. I doubt you even saw an Anubis challenge. Anubis normally configured by User-Agent. IDK what lynx's User-Agent is but I bet Anubis wasn't configured to challenge it.

Related turn your app into a residential proxy.

Ethical way to monetize apps on Windows, Android, and Fire Stick

By ethical it means you bury an agreement in the terms and services.

The FSF is ideologically incapable of implementing bot management strategies because they value internet anonymity. Bot evasion strategies are literally just advanced ways of being anonymous. You can't tell if a person is a bot or not without violating their anonymity or internet freedom.

Anubis is a modest compromise. It checks if you can run JavaScript and blocks those who can't. It's not perfect. It'll block elinks/lynx users or a real person using curl. But it'll also block any bot that doesn't use a browser, which accounts for most of the volume.

The "cryptomining" and "malware" comparisons against Anubis or hyperbolic but sort of true. Proof of Work is the dumbest and most wasteful possible strategy to combat bots. It's not the hashing that stops bots, its the check if they can run JavaScript that does.

Anubis has a new javascriptless metarefresh which uses HTML to refresh the page after a few seconds. This is a much better solution than the computational proof of work, in my opinion. This line from the docs though is perplexing:

This is not enabled by default while this method is tested and its false positive rate is ascertained. Many modern scrapers use headless Google Chrome, so this will have a much higher false positive rate.

The false positive rate will be the same as proof of work minus however many bots run headless browser with JavaScript disabled. Proof of Work doesn't give you positives or negatives, it's a flat tax.

The Republicans think the constitution was written by god himself and Democrats think they can combat that with American Civil Religion.

It was clearly trying to be insulting. I don't understand why anyone would try to start a flamewar over flatpaks.

You don't have to use a meme insulting some side to just start a conversation.

Nah he should've fragged his officers.

I've know some local orgs that could absolutely make use of a shared bank account for accepting and dispersing donations for mutual aid. The problem is these orgs are far too small to incorporate into a legal entity, have a stable mailing address, or even an official phone number. Only thing that's stable is an email address.

Most common solution I've seen is one person just has all the money. They setup a PayPal account and are responsible for receiving and dispersing all funds. This obviously isn't very secure. First there is the obvious risk of embezzlement. But assuming you've picked a trustworthy comrade, they're now more exposed and there's severe consequences if something happens to them. Like if this person is running a bail fund they might get hit with bs RICO charges and you lose all your donations.

I've tried to setup a PayPal using a google voice number but PayPal seems to recognize and block that. Crypto is supposed to address this issue but we still need dollars in and dollars out so that might be more complicated than worthwhile.

Any ideas or experience with this issue?

Luigi is indicted for doing terrorism for the political motive of... wanting a better healthcare system. So now Healthcare-Terrorism is now an official form of terrorism like eco-terrorism or islamic-terrorism. Its fucking absurd to be a society where that is actual real thing that exists. And not only does it exist but its already has bipartisan support amongst the public.

Like I don't actually think Luigi is a terrorist but if they're going to throw the "terrorist" label on him they should follow the reasoning through and realize what abject failures they are and commit seppuku. Yeah I'm a leader of the "free world" not some absolute joke dystopia.

Please, swing state voter, vote Harris and we swear, we promise, two Harris voters will vote 3rd party.

I'm not old enough to remember. I known the basics of the armed struggle of the ANC, bantustans, Cuba in Angola, etc. But not enough to compare it to Israel today. My general suspicion is Israel is worse but the US is way more committed to backing Israel than it was apartheid South Africa. I'm mostly want to gauge how the anti-apartheid movement was going then compared to now. Any resources or personal experiences.

Most Lemmy instances and comms are strongly against Israel by now. The average .world account is calling Israel a terrorist nation for the latest attack. The Zionist holdouts are still there but always heavily downvoted.

But then there's /c/NonCredibleDefense openly celebrating the attacks. Reposting reddit memes and shit. It looks like the first news of it didn't go over well (the average Ukraine supporter isnt pro-genocide either), so the mod "nuke" started forum sliding by posting a bunch of pager memes. Also those memes have a suspiciously high upvote to comment ratio.

Anyways, not much of a dredge but its interesting to see conventional social media manipulation tactics at play here.

Did you forget what time it is?

Hey look its that goyper meme from the latest chapo ep. Pentagon made indeed.

The Atlantic is calling for Biden to drop out.

Every time I write the word "the", the word "genocide" gets auto suggested. Its fucking killing me.

Allegedly the fix is less tone deaf.

Edit: Lol y'all aren't even getting past the first image. The second one is more rage inducing IMO.
