Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.

I know this tidbit is making its rounds, but the rest of the article makes it clear that the party will learn nothing as it's smarmy "Hey, I guess people just don't like the educated managerial class for some reason I don't understand, alas we'll have to try to win them back!"

hahaha i heard that and started CACKLING. this "they go low we go high" loser shit is sooooo fucking funny. especially after you've just called your opponent turbo hitler

Campaigns are at the stage where they are trying to reach out to people they believe are likely dem voters, encouraging them to early vote or make a vote plan. Make sure you are continuing to waste their time and money by remaining on their call/contact lists. This means they'll keep using campaign resources to try to get an answer from you.

I know it is tempting to text back STOP to make all the George Clooney texts stop, but try to hold the line!

I don't follow them and don't know if there has been any self-reflection since 2020. But if there hasn't I would have thought they'd been so embarrassed by now they'd have logged off

Want to learn more about what has worked elsewhere in helping to organize for this community. There are so many non-profits/NGO's devoted to assisting our unhoused neighbors but so many of them seem largely uneffective/toothless (for many reasons).

Looking to see if there are any good reads out there about lifting up this community. thanks!

My partner has all the right political instincts and really wants to bolster their knowledge of the systems of socialism/communism and the ideologies therein.

I was initially thinking of recommending Blackshirts and Reds by Parenti as that was an entry point for me to shed any remaining lib tendencies I had.

Would love to hear what y'all would recommend!
