I use a chemex, with a re-usable cloth filter. It gives a slightly different brew, and can be a little more work to clean up, but it generates much less waste. (the cloth filters only need replacement once every 6 months or so, and are fully bio-degradable.)

Part of the reason it's so cheap is because they sell a lot of power to the US NW, in addition to contracts providing reserve power through reverse-pumping the dams.

If you want do dive into the deep end, try Reading Capital With Comrades. Its structured like a book club, but you can get a lot from it without reading capital alongside.

 

Article The next paragraph goes on to spew crap like "the Government realized its need for bougoius support". I dont expect Wikipedia to be a paragon of leftist thought, but it feels like the WikiNerds aren't trying anymore.
