You can get FF7 Rebirth for $40 on sale. (And it has Chocobo racing) I think Nintendo is over reaching quite a bit and under delivering with a really mediocre upgrade with way too many nickle and dime gimmicks.
They killed emulators for this side grade and I don't see the justification for it. Crap-it-all-ism of course, but I'm not impressed by it.
Switch Emulators aren't dead, only yuzu had got got. There are others.
ryujinx got got too, nintendo sent someone to threaten the lead dev at their house in brazil
the original dev was coerced into stopping, but the beauty of open source software is that you can fork it, so people did
it's still going today, the version i'm using had a commit 3 days ago
Ryujinx also got got, but in a different way. They did not get sued, but Nintendo tracked down the lead dev in Brazil and threatened him into shutting the project down
