I think he was already losing steam due to being old. Then he was legitimately really traumatized by almost getting his head blown off.
The best part is how he said he never wants to talk about the event again after the RNC speech, then every time he meets with people, they’re constantly waving a poster of the picture of him bloody in front of the flag or making memes referencing the shooting. Like imagine waking up to your near death plastered on this thing in your driveway everyday
