It's to distinguish her from the Republicans' Kamala Harris, who is set to be released upon humanity some time next week to feast on its context and all which came before.

I get the impression that Cabin Boy (1994) was supposed to establish Chris Elliott (Groundhog Day, There's Something About Mary, recurring spot on Letterman) as the next Jim Carrey-tier leading comedy actor and screenwriter, but instead it was more of a deadpan surrealist love letter to Harryhausen creature features. Viewed on its own merits, it has a certain sense of comedic timing and a few classic bits ("maybe cooking oil is nature's sunblock"). However, what it has in comedic timing, it lacks in overall pacing. One can't help but be reminded of such films as Dumb and Dumber, Billy Madison, or even Animal House, and other films that bear the mantle of so-called summer comedies. This movie speaks less to the heart, and more to the sphincter.

spoilerReal answer is probably Dark Star (1974) or From Dusk Till Dawn 2 (1999), but only because I haven't been able to finish Morbius or Troll 2, and I haven't subjected myself to The Last Airbender yet because I'm just not that into self-harm.

Screaming the freeze-gamer word when I can't find a guitar equipped with a Kahler Flyer trem with a Floyd Rose style locking nut, and screaming it again when I get the parts and labor quote to have my local music store do the mod for me because I am an absolute dingus that cannot be trusted with a plunge router

They're fine if you screw them all the way down and just never try to use the tremolo function*. A true hard tail is better for overall pick attack/initial sustain, and won't suffer from tuning stability issues if you don't have either a block or strong enough springs holding the 6-point trem down inside the body cavity, but the 6-point vintage trems are OK in that configuration. If nothing else, it's a lot less work to set up than a Floyd Rose, but god damn, a Floyd that is properly set up and intonated can stay in tune for weeks at a time. That initial setup on a Floyd -- especially if you change string gauges -- is absolute hell, though.

Tuning stability problems with Fender-style bridges are often a problem with strings binding in the nut slots, especially on the MiM and Squier models. A little bit of graphite lubricant in the slots can alleviate this, unless the slots are too deep or too narrow, in which case, someone (preferably a qualified tech with the right set of gauged files) will need to do some cutting and/or shaping.

*If your saddle height adjustment screws are long enough that you can lift the saddles up to compensate for the bridge plate being lower. Otherwise, you're getting into weird bridge plate shim territory.

And then you have the insidious social media influencer shit, especially on Instagram and TikTok, where people posing as everyday randos start gushing about how great X product is... A week later, my partner is demanding whatever the latest Ninja kitchen gadget is, while the last four sit on the counter in varying states of disuse. Or worse, those emery cloth abrasive "hair removers" that are just white label AliExpress trash that scratch the ever-loving shit out of your skin and sometimes leave bits of grit in stuck in your skin and/or pores. It's a little horrifying to watch "consumer demand" get generated in real-time against an otherwise rational person.

Maybe I'm just hyper-aware of it because of my own history with piss-poor impulse control and some hard-learned lessons.
