I found a TRS-80 Model 4 at Goodwill the other day and was anticipating having to spend some time fixing it up but it all just works. Even both disk drives and the LSDOS 6.3 floppy that was inside work like they're brand new. I have some parts on the way to make a cassette cable so I can load programs from my laptop instead of typing the basic in by hand. Any recs? If it matters it's one of the B&W (not green) ones with 128k RAM.

I usually see myself as one of the olds, but I started with a 386, so now I feel relatively young. sicko-zoomer

Sorta the same here. We had 386's at school but the first computer I remember having at home was a Pentium 2 running 95

My school had Apple IIGS computers. Yep, I'm part of the "Oregon Trail" generation. My first personal computer was a 386. meemaw
