I usually see myself as one of the olds, but I started with a 386, so now I feel relatively young.
Sorta the same here. We had 386's at school but the first computer I remember having at home was a Pentium 2 running 95
My school had Apple IIGS computers. Yep, I'm part of the "Oregon Trail" generation. My first personal computer was a 386.
286 IBM PC compatible gang
We had great fun playing on my friend's trs-80. I mainly remember Super Nova, Donkey Kong, and Frogger
I had a c64 and a Timex Sinclair zx80, missed out on the Trash 80 tho. I think you have a responsibility to find old gaming mags and input the source code for them by hand like we used to do.
I have a book called "Celestial Basic" that has a bunch of basic programs for astronomy stuff that I'm going to try a few programs from, but unless I can find some physical magazines it seems silly to copy text from my laptop screen to the computer.
smh. Kids these days. ;)
