Bernie Sanders had supporters at the convention that ritually nominates the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, and the DNC insiders physically locked those supporters outside and left a single box of donuts there as a passive-aggressive snubbing.

Wine liberals country-wide started putting sprinkled donut emojis in their tweets to show how much they supported that very democratic moment.
